Marsha Brenner, Executive Director
When the Chicago Apparel Center opened its doors, one of the original tenants was Just Jewelry, Inc., owned and designed by Marsha Brenner. With a factory in Rhode Island and a Chicago finishing facility, the line of upscale jewelry and accessories was carried by many accounts across the United States including major department stores. After closing the business in 1990, Marsha became president of Appropos, Inc., designing, creating and overseeing all aspects of manufacturing. She assumed her post as Executive Director in 1996 under President Dorothy Fuller and has been instrumental in moving AIBI forward with innovative new programs and services. Marsha’s love of our industry and its growth in our City is best shown through the education and training of its community, that fashion is indeed a business with its eye to the future
