Our Mission - The Office Team
Dorothy Fuller, President and founder of the Apparel Industry Board, Inc. is actively involved on many boards that support the City of Chicago, education and the fashion and sewn products industries. Some of these Boards are: The Chicago Work Force Board, ETC (Education to Careers) Advisory Board. Fuller is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum, a member of the Advisory Board of the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago, a member of Fashion Group International of Chicago, Inc, and the Mayor's Fashion Advisory Council. One of her most prestigious honors was to be invited as keynote speaker to the first World Clothing Competence Conference on Beijing shortly after China was accepted into the World Trade Organization.
Marsha Brenner, Executive Director, is a member of the Advisory Board of the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago, a member of the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum, a Past President of the Fashion Group Foundation of Chicago, Inc., a member of the Fashion Group International of Chicago, Inc., Past President of the Chicago Fashion Guild, and a member of Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Fashion Focus Committee. Ms. Brenner was a designer and manufacturer of fashion jewelry for more than 25 years and her collections were sold internationally.
