Mentoring Program With Dorothy Fuller
What is the Mentoring Program?
The Apparel Industry Board, Inc. is a Delegate Agency of the City of Chicago, Department of Planning and Development that assists the Greater Chicago design community. Dorothy Fuller, President of the Apparel Industry Board, Inc., has founded a mentoring program in which she helps designers on a daily basis, in all facets of the sewn products industry, to start and maintain their businesses. This consulting service takes you through the manufacturing process from A-Z, dealing with numerous Chicago based support companies (contractors, pattern makers, fabric sourcing, etc).
What is the Cost of the Program?
The initial meeting is $100.00 for AIBI members and $150.00 for non members. Each meeting for consultation thereafter is $50.00 - $100.00, depending on the time and attention needed for each specific project. This service covers assistance regarding your business plan, competitive costing of your product, sourcing, manufacturers/contractors/sample-makers, and much more.
