Brand Name: Peach Carr
On this edition of Thursday Style we're highlighting Peach Carr.
We first met Peach when she burst onto the fashion scene as a cheeky, self-taught designer from Chicago on the 8th season of Project Runway.
Peach finds inspiration for her designs from the music, art and vibe of the 60's and 70's.
Whether she's dressing one of her celebrity clients or the girl next door, Peach's pieces are polished, yet whimsical: day to night with a big personality and clean lines.
All her collections are made in Chicago by women and everything is machine washable.
In recent months Peach has focused on donating masks and other PPE to medical professionals and facilities in the Greater Chicago Area. After making countless donations, she started utilizing her spare fabrics to create limited-run masks for the general public. For this reason, her online shop is currently filled with fun, colorful mask options instead of high fashion. But don't despair, once the world is back to normal Peach will be back in the studio again!
Highlights from Previous Collections
These are some highlights of Peach Carr's recent collections. You can see her range from bold, wrinkle-free day wear to chic evening looks, and those eye-catching handbags with a "wink and a nod" to pop culture.
Now for the most important question... WHO DO YOU HANG WITH?
#TBT to our 2019 REV UP CHICAGO runway show! Peach's collection is modeled by Chicago notables, like Linda Yu and Sylvia Perez. One-of-a-kind pieces like these can be specially made by Peach to your measurements and those handbags are sure to be the talk of the evening!
