2024 Moderator: Laura Montero, (@yourlatinaguide), is a passionate ethnographic journalist and traveler from La Guajira, Colombia, has dedicated her life to exploring and sharing the stories of the world through her unique lens. With a profound love for documentary photography, she has captured the essence of diverse cultures and communities on her global travels, specially from the wayuu tribe in La Guajira.
As a storyteller, content creator, and reporter, Laura utilizes her ability to give voice to those who are often forgotten or marginalized. Her adventurous spirit has taken her to remote locations and diverse communities, where she has worked as a volunteer and social entrepreneur, always seeking ways to make the world a better place.
