Textile Scrap Recycling at AIBI!

AIBI and Conscious Costume are pleased to launch a new Textile Recycling Program accepting limited fibers this spring.

In collaboration with National Safety Apparel, we will be able to accept and recycle polyester and cotton at the Fashion Lab. Attendees are encouraged to bring fabric offcuts to recycle on selected Drop Off days.

What can be recycled?

• Only 100% Polyester & 100% cotton can be accepted through this program at this time.

• Scraps and offcuts must be smaller than a quarter of a yard. Pieces the size of your hand or smaller are perfect; long, skinny pieces also work.

• All scraps must be pre-sorted into the 4 different groups: - 100% Polyester Wovens

  - 100% Polyester Knits

  - 100% Cotton Wovens
