Chicago Local Events:


Friday, April 12th - Sunday, April 14th

CFT's Conscious Closet Club Clothing Swap


Join Chicago Fair Trade’s Conscious Closet Club for a weekend-long clothing swap at Envision Unlimited Westtown Center as part of The Weaving Mill’s upcoming Open House! In celebration of Earth Month and Fashion Revolution Month, we welcome swappers of all ages, sizes, and genders.


Thursday, April 18th

CFT + DCASE Clothing Swap & Under the Dome Concert


Under the Dome features special musical performances in the Hall’s Louis Comfort Tiffany art glass dome – the largest Tiffany glass dome in the world. Bring clean (no stains) items you want to add to the swap and leave with a whole new look. Folks can take up to 5 items - and show them off in front of our Under the Dome Step & Repeat.


Saturday, April 20th

Mend-In at Production Mode + Wulfka Trunk Show


Bring an item of clothing in to mend it at the shop. We'll provide supplies (thread, pins, needles, scissors, buttons, fabrics for patching) and expertise if you'd like guidance. ... And for those of you who don't want to do it yourself, we also offer visible mending services- bring in a piece for us to mend for you.
